A Tank is an asset that is tracked or wheeled. It has limited mobility and poor stability in difficult or uneven terrain when compared to Mechs, but have a greater potential for damage spreading and cannot have weapons destroyed. For the sake of simplicity, the wheeled vehicles are also considered as Tanks.
Although many tanks are effective at tanking, that tactic is not limited just to the tracked and wheeled vehicles that are referred to as "tanks."
