Screen shake or cockpit shake occurs when one is it by a weapon with "Explosive Pressure." This causes one's aim to move around and shake. Weapons with high screen shake can cause enemies to be suppressed and hide. It can also cause enemies to miss some of their shots or wait longer in-between shots (decreasing their DPS). If one is equipped with multiple weapons that can cause screen shake, it is recommended to chain-fire those weapons to spread out the shaking and disrupt the enemy for longer.
Notable Screenshake Weapons
- Artillery: ArrowIV, Long Tom and Thumper Artillery have the highest explosion pressure, damage, range and splash radius of all screenshake options - however, it's hampered by a slow rate of fire, and are only mounted on specialty chassis focused on delivering artillery.
