Rearming describes the process of refilling your vehicles ballistic and missile weapons.
This can happen either from an outside source or from any additional tons of ammo your vehicle might carry.

Rearming From Outside Source

To rearm your vehicle from an outside source enter a buy zone that is appliciable for your type of vehicle and press the [period] key. Every weapon on your vehicle will now refill its ammunition, which will make them unable to fire for a short duration and deduct the cost for the ammo from your cbills.
If you want to reload only a certain type of weapon (e.g. if you are low on money) open the buy menu with [comma], open the ammo tab and select the weapon type you want to reload.

Rearming Mechs and Tanks

Mechs and tanks can rearm from the following sources:
- From mech bays, for example inside a small hangar
- From an APC
- From repair pads in the Solaris Arena game mode and on a few custom maps

Rearming Aircraft

ASF can rearm from the following sources:
- From the runways in front of an ASF hangar, or the hangar itself
- From an APC, if the server allows this in its settings

Note that ASF have to land and stand still on order to rearm their weapons.

Rearming VTOL

VTOL can rearm from the following sources:
- From a VTOL Pad
- From runways
- From mech bays
- From an APC

Rearming From Free Tons

Some vehicle variants have free tons that can be used to store extra ammo for the weapons it carries.
You can store ammo for a weapon only if the weapon in question is already fully reloaded and if your vehicle has free tons left (visible in the upper right hand corner, under the list of your vehicles weapons).
To load ammo into this space enter a buy zone that is appliciable for your type of vehicle and open the buy menu with '[comma]' and then select the ammo tab. If you purchase ammo now that your weapons are already full, instead of reloading, it will store one ton of this type of ammo.
Once your weapons have depleted their ammo they will automaticly rearm from the reserves you have stored in your free tons.

Note that missile weapons of the same type but different size share the same ammo, while ballistic weapons do not.
A MRM20 would be able to reload from missiles that were bought for a MRM40, but a LBX20 would be unable to reload from ammo that was bought for a LBX10
