Description
Note: we are currently accepting full- and part-time memberships, but we haven't been able to start playing.
History The Pyrrans have been around since the little-known Clan Bowie went to war in the Pirates Haven cluster). The Clanners, having only a light force, gave us some extra mechs for keeps which allowed us to drive the invasion home. We became mercenaries after an offer from Vindemiatrix to defend against invasion from a light Steiner force). It was an easy clean up, since they expected no military resistance, and we earned loads C-bills yearly from the planet (by contract), and after that we were off in the business.

Activities
We will offer training before a fight, inner scrims, then group playing. We also want to attach temporarily to other units for GIANT games. We are also willing to try scenarios.
Organization
There are several levels. There are 4-5 admins, 2 lance commanders for each admin, and three other players in the lance. This nontraditional lance structure includes the lance leader, 3 lancemates, and an group of administrators to induce cooperation.
The lancemates can be of four different classes:
- Temporary recruits have the least pay, but they are okay for freelance mercenaries (for whom we will offer ratings for in the future)
- New Recruits are for people who join. Currently this group does not exist because we are accepting high ranks currently.
- Regulars enjoy the second highest subordinate salary and full membership.
- Elite Warriors are special forces regulars. Special forces are currently nonexistent.
