Die Clan Kohorte (eng. The Clan Cohort) is a group of friends who play MWLL for fun only. They associate themselves with Clan. All of its players are from Germany.

Description

Die Clan Kohorte, or dCK, was founded in February 2010, just shortly after the release of MWLL. The concept had been at hand some time before though. The founding members were Apriori, Warheart and Ad_Hominem. The group does not aim at competitive league play, yet is willing to fight other units or clans (mostly by chance though). Die Clan Kohorte does not recruit new players. If this should change there will be no public "Sign up" thread, but its members will ask players they consider to fit in whether or not they would like to join or not. If this should ever be the case please note that a headset and well English and/or German skills will be required to join.

Activities

Regular public playing as a team and a clan war here and there with other units, or cooperation with these.

Organization

Currently dCK has 5 Members: Ad_Hominem, Apriori, Warheart, Quiet and Yggdrasil. There is no fixed chain of command, but a situational take over by individual warriors, depending on the current situation. However for official communication Ad_Hominem can be contacted. dCK does not run any servers.

Background

After the great refusal on Strana Mechty was lost, a group of warriors from different Clans challenged the outcome in front of the Great Council. They would not accept that the invasion, and with it Kerensky's vision of a free Terra and united Inner Sphere, was over. As none of the Clans was willing to agree to their sentiment, these warriors broke with everything they knew, left their Clans and demanded a trial for dropships and the Odyssey class jumpship Hydra, which was in Clan Diamond Shark's possession, along with the assigned techs and other low caste members. Due to the heavy resistance they met in the Great Council, the conditions of the trial were that the first warriors to announce their renunciation from the Clans were to fight a mixed unit, consisting of one warrior of each Keshik. As the wayward warriors succeeded in this, there was no other option in the Clan mentality than to let them leave. Being that this newly found entity consisted of members of different clans and a common identity would have to be mandatory in order to establish a sense of companionship, they called themselves Die Clan Kohorte. They made for the border that had been established after the battle of Tukkayid. Their exact location is unknown at the moment (also due to the fact that the Hydra works as their mobile base), but several planets have sent distress signals, claiming to be attacked by a new, yet unknown "Clan"...
